Bunk locks

I have another question for everybody. On my 2015 228 when I pull out the bunks there are two locks, are there holes for them so I can lock them or do I pull it out till the end of the rails then lock them.I can not find any holes to slide them in.Kinda forgot what the dealer did and can't find anything in the manual..thanks again

When you fully extend the bunks there are holes for the bolt to slide in.

Yes, the bottom rail, the rail the bed rail rolls on, has two holes one above the other. The push the bed out, until the end of the bed rail passes the holes and insert the pin.

On my 228, for the rear bed, I have to give it a push from inside with my thigh to get it out far enough for the pin. Front is just pushed with a hand.

And if the rear bed is not all the way out, the backboard for the skinny couch will bang against the bed rail.

I can easy slide the beds out but all I see near the end of the rails are a hole on each side and tried locking them in there but they won't go in far enough, looks like they forgot to drill the holes through the other side

If I hadn't folded mine up yesterday, I would jump in an take a photo. But if there are not two holes; one in the upper part and lower part of the lower rail, than yea, sounds like that. I wonder can you see further in to see if the bed has to go out a bit further?

I pulled the beds out to the point where the locks were at the end of the frame, and I know something just ain't right there.Wish I can open it again now but I can't till Friday, and I will take pics.We didn't see any other holes that the locks would fit into.

My 2014 2516g doesn't have holes........you pull the beds out far enough for the latch bolts to extend and block being pushed back in........I have no holes in the outer rail.

Then you need to slide them out more until the bolt can clear the end of the inner rail. When you pull the beds out you should feel it stop when it hits mechanical stops of the rails.
