Awh ... thats any easy one ....
Get yourself a cable .. then get yourself a TV and hook em up together then put them in your pop up ... LOL

Seriously .... cable TV ? You mean HDTV or Sat TV ? ( like Dish or Direct ) ?
last time I knew ... there wasn't any campsites CG's that had a cable hookup along with the water and electricity connections ... But , hey ... maybe I'm wrong .
maybe in the more sophisticated city style CG's theres cable hookups .

( I'm sorry ... I couldn't resist that one - LOL )

Ok , sorry .. never seen one .
So , then , what exactly are looking to figure out ? Running a cable from inside to outside ? There are outlet panels that you can use , but they are also subject to oxidization which in turn would make a VERY lousey connection which would make BAD transmission of the signal trying to get to your TV .

Last 3 CG's I've been at had cable.

Easiest way would be to just run the coax from the cable box under the canvas at the corner of a bunk-end and route to where you have your TV.

LOL ... sorry , but really ?
Sounds more like SUPER 8 or La Quinta to me than going "camping" . But , I guess ---- different strokes for different folks .
I'll back out and let you folks do your cable thingy whilst going camping .
Enjoy .... ( I guess )

Do you have a shore power port, or just a door that the shore power comes out of? If so run it along side that.

Good reply. I too like some comfort of home. I camp solo so it can be nice having some communication going on even if it's only one way. The campground I'm heading to on my next trip has cable and I do plan on using making use of it. There an antenna booster in my TT so I will need to turn it off when connected to cable.

JackFrostwinter, I hope the hot rod is running. With the snow around it, it should be covered. Like... it's nice ya know.

With all connections, the fewer times you change wires the better. So if you can run a cable direct from the campsite pole to the TV your better off. Coaxial cable is thin and can easily slip up and under the tenting to snake inside. I recommend you pick up a length of cable and just fish it into the pop up and hook it directly to the TV. The signal strength would be the best you can get from the pole.

My camper is wired with an external cable hook up but I still bypass it and feed it into the camper.

Vin.

Does your pup have a roof antenna (like a Winegard or Jack)?

If so, you can retrofit the roof/cable wall plate and add a single coax connector to an outside wall.

Otherwise carry a long(er) coax cable and run it into the TV as previously suggested.

There are as stated cable tv connections like this Amazon.com: Prime Products 08-6215 White Weatherproof Cable TV Kit: Automotive and yes they can get corroded but won't if you use di-electric grease on them. The only thing with these your going to have to at least drill a hole in the side of your camper. The easiest way with yours also as stated would be slip a cable under the canvas. I usually use my antenna but have been to a cg that had cable free for my site and you couldn't get anything on the antenna so I used it. Having the tv for morning weather , news and to catch that show that when you miss one in the series are a great thing. Great on rainy days too.
