Charging

Hi all, I have an 2010 rock wood 1950 I just bought and will be taking out soon. My question is if I hook my camper to a electrical hook up (30amp) will it also charge my deep cycle battery? Thanks in advance.

Yes. And you'll probably want to check to see if your towing vehicle is wired properly so it's being charged while traveling. That way if you wanted to use frig. it won't drain it.

Good question:

Mark Polk has some very informative articles that explain the RV electrical system and the converter (which is also your battery charger) that you may want to read.

Basic RV Electricity - RV Information (RV Maintenance)

RV Converters and Amp Draw - RV Information (RV Maintenance)
