City water inlet leaking

Just bought a 2006 rockwood premier 1907 pop up and used it this past weekend. We used the holding tank for water and the water pump. The pump would intermittently run on as there was a small drip on the city water inlet on the outside of the trailer. Should I be replacing this? If so where can I find an exact part online? Or an improved part? I want to make sure it fits the same and the screw holes are in the same location so I don't have to drill new holes.

Thanks for your help...

The city water fill has a check valve in place for this reason.
You may want to try pushing in on the check valve a few times as it may have a piece of debris in it holding it open.

If that doesn't work you may have to replace it.
The city water fill and check valve are normally the same piece.
Any campier dealer will have one and simple to replace.

We had what sounds like this same leak issue. No matter what hose we used, the water would leak at the connection on the trailer. Behind the little round filter is a valve (backflow valve?) that can get stuck. If you take out the little filter, you can push the valve with your finger to loosen it and pop it back into the correct position. Replace the filter and you should be good to go. If this does not work, you may need a new backflow valve. Just a suggestion that worked for us.
