Countertop Issue

While cleaning this morning after our first trip this year, I noticed an issue with the counter in our HW27KS. Looks like the countertop is pulling away just on the corner. You can clearly see this in the pics below.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix?

Thanks

Most likely from humidity. It may come down some but the base of the Formica is particle board most often and will not return to original shape.

I have never had that happen, it does seem humidity based as already stated. If no warranty coverage, you may want to replace. Not sure this will straighten out.

Since it is a 2009 you may try to remove the Micro and see if you can secure it from inside that cab! Try to place weight on counter to Slowly flatten the Top for a few days, then secure from inside! Youroo!!

I agree with youroo's approach, but if humidity is the problem, I'd try to dry the underlayment then after it is secured-seal it to limit the issue from reoccurring.
