This last weekend upon setup at our campsite, I noticed that the outer skin panel on the dinette was warped. Upon inspection I noticed the bottom was not attached( I could see straight up behind the Panel. Luckily we didn't have rain on trip out. I met a nice family who just so happened to have a tube of caulk. My question to anyone out there in the know, are these panels not supposed to be glued on to structure?. Because there is absolutely none and no sign that there has ever been any. The only thing holding the panel is the Trim as well as Hardware such as the pull handle, hot water tank cover, access door and the sealant used. My unit is a 2011 Flagstaff Mac 228 D that we purchased brand new, nothing but problems with this unit. What can I use to fix this?

Can you attach a pic or two of it? I have the same camper but older and have done a many of mods to it.

hopefully I was successful in uploading a pic. In this shot I am on my back shooting straight up, as you can see the outer skin isn't attached . The dealer was laughable and said "sometimes the adhesive the factory uses soaks into the wood" and of course would be happy to fix it for me... Not. I wound up taking all the edge trim and the hot water tank flange off and the panel was off, absolutely no sign of there ever being adhesive. I repaired it by using Marine Grade epoxy.

Good for you, I'm glad you was able to fix it. Unfortunately, you are going to find that Flagstaff like many others are cheaply made. BUT, once you work the bugs out of it, your going to love it.
