Does anybody have a 2015 HW296?

Just wondering what the outdoor kitchen is like, and why they only offered it for one year?
Was it too expensive to offer not sure?
I loved the idea of an outdoor kitchen wish my new 2017 296 had it.

Do you mean the HW277? That is what I have - 2018 model - and it has the outdoor slide out sink and stove. We really love it!

not sure if the hw296 ever had a outside kitchen? but the hw277 has it. we had a Rockwood 2010 HW277 with the outside kitchen, used it all the time and that was our favorite feature of our popup - they are still offering it.

We have a 2016 hw277 with outdoor sink and stovetop. Use it every time we camp. Very handy and we love it. The 296 has the couch that does not come in the 277, and that takes up room so they moved the fridge to where the outdoor slide out kitchen is located in the 277. Bottom line they are the same campers, you either choose to have a couch or an outdoor kitchen but not both. I like them both but choose the kitchen in the end.

We have a 2016 hw296 and love the couch. Helps my mother in law in getting into the bed. Just wish the fridge was in the front of the camper instead of the back.

Ya me too I'm waiting for my 2017 HW296 to get here I'm leaving for Maine in 12 days, that's cutting too close to get it packed and ready to go.
Something happened at the factory and they never shipped it after it was built 3 weeks ago, the dealership apologized for the mistake.

Ya sorry that's right it is the HW277 with the outdoor kitchen, I don't know what I was thinking.
I wish that would add that feature to the 296.

I picked the HW-277 over the 296 because of the outdoor kitchen.
I like the kitchen, but I confess that the stove is only useful in calm conditions, and its small, so using both burners at once require a compromise on the size of the pans you can use.

The outdoor sink is very handy.

The outdoor kitchen occupies two full cabinet spaces on the inside. So it eats up a lot of storage.

It's a compromise, so forget about it and enjoy your 296. :-)

PS. If I'm correct, you have the double axle...a distinct advantage in the event of a tire failure. The HW-27X series has a single axle.
