Vince. How do we know it is waterproof glue? Is it special RV wood sheets? This is scary. I too would like to undercoat mine but what about trapping moisture in? Wood and water is tricky.
Best way to see is to look up "OSB board" on line and read the Wik explanation. They have been using the outdoor variety for many years on RV's, trailers and M/Hs. Lighter and sometimes stronger than similar size plywood. If it weren't waterproof, RV's would self destruct in 3 years or less.

Anyone that wants to undercoat the pup. You might want to find out how that would affect the warranty. Mine is a 2015 hw 276 that has a 25 yr warranty so in my case I think they would screw me if anything did happen. Ill be leaving it till the warranty is up then LINE X the underneath.

Fishhawk. So far I should be able to connect a 3" stinky to the bayonet fitting. Ill post better pic and part numbers as long as it works. So far it should but that box is stopping me but I figured out a different setup that should be ok and not run in to any problems.

I correct my location of the box. Its at the grey drain outlet which is behind the slide which is the shower floor so im thinking a P trap for the shower? Might look tomorrow.

It's a box that protects the Ptrap for the shower. Some units have plastic boxes and some have ⅜" OSB.

F5Moab-you're twisted... LOL

Do not undercoat the plywood! It's open so that moisture can escape. If you undercoat it, any moisture that gets in will trap against the coating (think rubber mat on concrete) and the floor will fail.
FWIW I used to be a waterproofing contractor.

No...The drain for the shower is plumbed into the grey water tanks.

I got curious so now I am home and looked under my hw and low and behold, there is a black box just above the grey outlet..... have no idea what it could be either. the shower is right above it but that is plumbed into the grey tank that is directly under the shower drain.

The mystery box does have a small hole in it so it can't hold any liquid.
