I have said this before, but it bears repeating. I have had two different BiPap machines (heavier duty Cpap) and both were powered by big power supply BRICKS that plug in to the 120 v ac. Well both of those bricks have 12 volt dc out put and both companies offer a 12 volt power cord that plugs right in to a Cigarette Lighter type outlet. Neither one has killed my batteries overnight and though I think I blew a fuse in the cord last Saturday night by turning the humidifier above the lowest setting, the machine is DESIGNED to run on 12 Volt DC so CHECK IT OUT Taking 12 v dc through an inverter up to 120 v ac then through a big power brick to take it back to 12v DC would be a horribly inefficient use of your power.
