Door issues, 2514 Rockwood Premier

So far we really like our new pup, but every time I put it up I struggle with the door. When putting it in, it does not seem to want to fit in the opening, and I have to fool with it forever to get it in and functioning. Was hoping I would just get better at it with time, but still struggling. Any pointers?

I know what you mean.........it does require a bit of finesse that develops over time. I can tell you that if you are using the stabilizer jacks to level your camper or just over using them.........this will make it almost impossible to get the door in.

If ours isn't level front to back its kind of a pain, but if level F/B slides in like butta. Or if the roof isn't quite high enough (got get that correct note from the guide cable)...If it goes in a little tight, I wedge the top in where it should be, open the door step outside and a quick thunk on each corner with the heel of my hand typically sets it.

Put a little "English" on it.

Completely understand about the door, but figured something out last trip. Like everyone is saying, PUP level (front to back and side to side), don't use stabs to level (potentially makes them to tight) and ensure roof is fully extended up. If these are met, it should go in smoothly.

We have the same issue. Goes easier if the wife is inside and I try to help from the outside. We always level and I lightly put the jacks down then later after we are all set up I go around and hit the jacks agian to tighten then down some more from shifting and settling.
