LOL! Tell me about it!!!!!
The Ontario Provincial Parks I have booked at: Inverhuron, Awenda, The Pineries, all have outlets that are very far!!!
I think that some of the parks have cords you can rent, but, I don't want to rely on that.

When we honeymooned at Long Key State Park in the keys the post were shared between sites with about 40 feet between units. Lucky us were parked about 40 feet from the power pole! We were able to use a heavy duty extention cord and ran off 20A amp for the few days. As soon as we got back on the mainland we got another 25 foot 30 amp cord!

We camp at several friends who have farms and the place I camp at is as far from the stables as I have cord.

I normally carry the 100 foot, 25 foot, and 35 foot shore power cables as well as the Franks Auto-Transformer. Of course I don't use them every time.

I have needed the extensions at 3 FAMCAMPs as well. Quantico, VA, MacDill AFB, FLA and Hill AFB, UT.

So true. I have come across that a few times with cords.. Not having one when needed is truely a let down.
