Fan tastic vent fan

How do I tell what fantastic fan I have. I bought a fantastic ultra vent fan cover ( atwood u1500bl) had it installed at the dealership (don't want roof leaks) but opened the pup a week later and the vent fan does not open. It turns on and unlocks. Thinking they didn't line up the cover right. So I should just need to move the cover not the brackets. Has anyone else have problems or know what I need to do? I've read that there are other brackets that I might need (thanks vin) but don't know what vent I have. Btw 2015 rockwood hw276)

First thing I would check is, did they install the fan cover facing the correct way.

If it is then remove the cover and see what happens.

This is why I always open the vent and then sit the cover over it to get correct
spacing/alignment.

Wow, if they installed it backwards; time to hire someone new to install. I installed mine and really, it is rather logical on how it sits.

Plus if using the existing screws or installing new screws on a clamp style is pretty precise.

Curved surfaces go foward...

A simple solution that would undoubtedly escape the grasp of some shops.

Yes they installed it in the right direction. But I'm thinking it might be slid to far forward or backwards. Yeah I would have opened the vent to install in bur it's a pup and you have to raise the top pull out the rear bed. I had them do it just so if it leaked it was thier problem but as of now it don't even open. I'm just hoping they didn't chalk the lid shut.

With a popup you probably had the clamp style fan. So I guess they could have installed the screws in the wrong position! When I installed mine, I didn't open it up, but it was pretty obvious if it was installed correctly.

And the instructions stated measure from the front vertical surface and measure 3 1/4 inches to the rear and 7/8 inches from the side vertical and drill a hole for the screw. Same for both front sides and both rear.

They should not have applied any sealant to the cover itself.

One way to find out for sure is pull the four cotter pins and lift the cover off the mounting brackets and measure and look to see if they sealed the cover down.
