First trip in the books
We had a wonderful time taking our PuP out for the first time this year. During the trip we had time to relook over stuff and we noticed some things need attention.
Last Fall we had the unit winterized, prior to our trip I set the PuP up and dewinterized it. I hooked up to house water spicket, flushed RV antifreeze, turned knobs to un-bypass hot water heater and filled on board water tank, filled hot water heater and began organizing. We got to the campground (Lake of the Ozarks S.P.) where we filled the water storage tank. I went to get some wood and when i returned my DW said water was leaking from the cabinet. Come to find out the technician cross threaded the suction hose nut that attaches to the water pump. We have appt to get that repaired.
The support pole for the king bed has wallowed out the hole. The hole that secures the pole to the roof has widened so much it's barely a hole anymore. A very, very thin piece of metal remains. I wrapped the pole end with tape and punched a much smaller hole which kept it from falling out.
The R rear support leg was not installed properly, of the 3 screws holding it to the undercarriage 1 is screwed in properly.
All things will be looked at next week when I take it in.
All and all we had a great time, the weather was nice, enjoyed each others company listening to the crackling of the fire under the stars.
