Flagstaff 227 electric problem

Hi,
the inline fuse blows every time I change the fuse 20A.
any idea?

what device is controlled by the inline fuse?

Is it the Main fuse from the Battery? If so all of your lights, appliances etc are running from that fuse. The only way to figure it out is to disconnect one fixture at a time and see which one stops blowing the fuse.
BUT first follow the wire along the frame and look for worn insulation on the wire, this will happen if its rubbing against something for a long Time.This visual inspection is the first thing to do, if you find a worn spot either tape it up or replace the wire and ensure there is no more bad spots that can short out the fuse.

Elricko, you need to be a little more specific about what fuse it is, and what goes off when it does blow. The inline fuses on my unit are in a green plastic holder, and are 30 amp fuses for the electrically operated slide outs. There is also a relay/ junction block under the tongue area that the battery wire goes to that can go bad easily. If it is in the converter fuse box area, it could be any number of things, depending on the fuse. Be SURE your battery is wired correctly, and the electric water heater switch outside, under the access panel is off. It should not be too hard to pinpoint the problem. Randy

Hi,
The inline fuses on my unit are in a RED plastic holder and are 20 amps.
I dont have a slide outs and a electric water heater.


Now I know the light not work in 12 volt with 120 ac is work
My next step is:

what RONSTAR911 propose:
disconnect one fixture at a time and see which one stops blowing the fuse.

The solution is :

The small black wire with inline fuse go to + born
The big white wire go to - Born.

not sure what "Born" is but are you saying the wires to the battery were reversed?
