Flagstaff build quality

We recently purchased a 2013 Flagstaff T12BH Hard Side camper. The is our first camper. In the excitement we probably did not inspect it well. I wanted to get the comments of others. I can make list of issues now that I have it.
Furnace vent clearance inadequate. Almost against the plywood on the wall. Not following Suburban's install manual. Melting inner foam core.
Water pump pressed on to the floor from the force of plumbing pipes. So much for the rubber mount.
Gas lines go under frame to the very outside to reach fridge and furnace. Oddly furnace connection is on the opposite end.
Brake wires do not pass thru protected whole at axle so eventually will be damaged.
Axle lean to one side unloaded. This one might be ok but seems odd for 3/4 inch difference in height.
And what about vacuuming the compartments after construction. Wood chips, saw dust, pieces of wire, etc around hot water heater, furnace, under sink.
Am I being to picky? I really want to have fun with this, but I wonder what I got myself into.

Unfortunately you are not alone. I bought a Coachmen pop-up and can say that you ain't seen nothing.
QC appears to be non-existent.
It's a shame.
On the bright side, I now have something to tinker with!
The sink hoses as shipped...

My sink hoses now.

I haven't fixed under the sink yet...

These campers roll down an assembly line and are thrown together. The person doing the work is the factor. If they care at all at what they are installing some do most don't. Since its brand new take it back to dealer and make them fix everything.

With my limited experience in rv'ing I have to agree. I have never seen a product that lacks any real quality. Everything looks like it was made with a sawsall and a hand drill. Looks like its gonna take some subsidized offshore competition to get this industry doing quality work

But it's not like this is just a forest river problem. Every rv manufacturer is the same. And it seems some people will have more problems with there rv while others with the same model wont have any. Just luck of the draw.

yep, pretty common issues with the RV industry.

most newbies are shocked at things like these but it's extremely common, even on high-end rigs.

I live in Korea, so l don't have that option of taking it back.
A majority are FR companies, though. They are all separate.
It's an industry-wide problem.
If you saw some videos from the factories, you'd know why it's a problem.
They pump out about 30 trailers a day... 15 minutes per "station".
