Frayed cable on Flagstaff Mac

My husband was greasing under our Flagstaff Mac pup......he noticed the cable fraying. Has anyone had this problem....Did you do the repairs? If so, where did you get your replacement cable? Thanks Karen

we did not have a frayed cable but outright broke it (stupid newbees that we were at the time). we are not mechanically inclined so had the dealer replace it. i know people have replaced it themselves. I know - not a lot of help but maybe this will bump the thread and somebody with more info can chime in.

Need to know what cable you are referring to. Electrical cable or emergency brake cable.

Probably neither one. Most likely the lift cable. I'll see if I can find the info on it.

Follow the link I posted above. It's got replacement instructions in it.

Yep. You just need to contact Goshen and have a replacement cable sent to you. There are video's and posts on this forum on how to do it. I have not but they say it is not all that difficult.

Good luck.
