Full hookup question

Have a 2280 popup and have a question about the full hookup in campgrounds. Since I don't have a black water tank and just the drain for the sink, my question is do I need a special connection into the dump if I were to run a hose from the the "grey" water outlet into the dump connection at the campsite instead of collecting it into a 3 gallon container and dumping it in the restroom? Would I just stick the end of the hose into the pipe or what? Not sure.
Thanks in advance,
Frank

or, you could use this connection at the sewer in order to connect both your sewer hose and your 'gray' hose...

Iím not sure what it is called, but I have seen an adaptor that fits in the parks sewer fitting, and you can connect your sink drain hose to it. I need to get one for my pop up.

This is made by Camco and may work. Don't know if connected and don't have "P" trap what odor effect it would have.

Cool. Thanks for answers. My concern was if I could just stick the hose in the camp pipe or if it has to be a "sealed" connection. Thanks again. May have to check out the Camco item.

You don't want an open sewer connection right next to your trailer. Ya need a cap. And unless there's a P-trap in your plumbing you need a one-way check valve in the sewer connection. Garden hose is all ya need for grey water.

Not saying there isn't one but seems to me a check valve requires pressurization to open it for flow. The OP is just wanting something to assist with draining his grey water (not pressurized). He actually only needs something to cover the camp sewer port for his draining due to camp ground requirements. A donut and something to fill in the space around his hose will suffice. Did say that sewer smells may backup into the camper without a "P" trap of some sort. He doesn't have black water.
