Furnace operation

I just bought a 228 MAC pop-up. At the dealer, the camper was fully hooked up and operational. Then it was "winterized" before I drove it home. When I got home, I opened it up and hooked up my electric and the propane. When I turned the heater on, it ran for a few seconds, then turned off. I turned it off and then tried again. Same result. Now it won't turn on at all. What did I do? How do I get the heat on?

Do you have gas to the stove, try lighting a burner.
Does it work?
If not turn the gas off and then turn it on real slow.

I think I am missing a simple step. I'm just not sure which one.

If you have a manual thermostat, see if the front face comes off. I had a similar problem where the fan would blow but not ignite. If the cover comes of, there should be some small dials. They control the ignite timing and fan duration. Take a picture of where they are just in case you need to put them back but play around with these controls to adjust the timing.

I think you just have air in the propane line. it will take a few tries to get it out.

The fan won't even blow. Before I take anything apart, is there a master on/off switch somewhere? I think it might be that simple.

Do lights work? Could it be that you have a battery disconnect and nothing has power?

I would just unhook the battery ground and unplug it from any power outlet.
