furnace test

I would like to test my furnace, I dont have a 30 amp hook up so can I hook up the furnace using a extension cord hooking directly to my house to test I have a rockwood 1910 popup

Yes you can hook to the house.

Fyi your furnace is 12 volt.
Which is technically ran off of your battery when not hooked to shore power. in reality if your battery is charged you don't even need to hook it to the house to test it.

Generally the only time you'd need 30 amp is when you are running your A/C.

yep, your furnace has no need of the trailer being plugged into shore power.
it runs off the 12v battery. the only thing that you'll need shore power for is the a/c, the 110v outlets, the 110v AC side of your fridge and recharging the battery.

did someone tell you that you needed to do this, to run the furnace?
