Generator Recommendations?

Just bought the 2014 2514G. Love it!! I am shopping for a portable generator for dry camping. I have the 13500 Advent A/C installed on the roof which is my biggest consumer of amperage.

Does anyone have some experience in this area or can recommend a generator? I'm not looking to spend $3000 on a Honda. Simply something that will fit inside the front door during transport. I figure I can keep the gas cans in the forward storage compartment during travel.

Thanks!!

Shop around and get the 2 Honda 2000 generators for closer to $1600.

The reasons:
light weight - easier to handle
fuel efficient - can just use one if no A/C needed
quiet and easy to start

I'll probably take some heat from the red and blue fans out there, but I just bought the Dometic 3000 w unit. It's quiet, runs my 13.5k A/C and is under $800. Champion also has a 3100w unit that will run your A/C. I like mine and recommend it over the option of having to maintain two separate units. Hope this doesn't just add to the confusion.
