Goodbye Pop Up World - It has been Fun!
We purchased our first RV, a pop up in February of 2014 to get our family into the world of camping. It has been a fun 2 years, but after our first camping trip this spring, we decided it was time to move to a travel trailer. While I will miss the easy towing of the pop-up and small footprint when storing it next to the house, there are many things I will not miss.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum as it was a wealth of knowledge as I was learning how to use our first RV and hopefully I was able to help a few people out with my posts!
I guess I will be moving over to the Travel Trailer forum now as we are the proud new owners of A Rockwood Mini-Lite 2306! Happy Camping everyone!

Congrats! We loved our pop-up and it got us a start to RVing, but are happy in our switch. May you have many wonderful nights in our new camper!

Is that an invite or are you buying it for them?

Started with used pop up. I liked it! But got old and weary and moved up to one similar to yours.......not quite as nice as yours, but similar.
Kept that 3 years, and now moving up to 5'er.
After that, I'm buying a Mobile Home and a Freightliner!
Good luck. Nice looking unit. Guy across the street has one of those!!!

Congratulations and enjoy! We thought the popup we had was a great step up from sleeping on the ground in a tent...we really enjoyed going to the hybrid, indoor plumbing and all . But, have to say, really really enjoying our Freedom Express TT. Have fun!

No, those rat bastards stole it from under us. We looked at that camper at that place and well...
They deserve it, though. Their wife is a hell of a mud wrestler and that was the tie breaker. I'm still just a little bitter.

Congrats on your new unit. We started in tents, bought a Popper way back in '87, recently jumped into a fiver! Also miss the ease of towing, but not the new comfort level. Much nicer, but will always have fond memories of using tents and popper.

It depends on what brand or model you have.
If it's a FR brand, the FRF sub-forum for that brand, would be good.
That way you can share info and help with other owners of your brand.
I don't see anything in your profile, about your TT, so can't point you in any specific direction.

I went from tent camping into a 21 foot TT and just recently moved up to a 5'r. Each move up has been interesting but I am loving the fifth wheel a lot!

Here- there are forums for each brand (if you bought a TT) or there are also the "General" forums for non-FR brands.

Welcome and congratulations. We also did the progression as comfort needs and kids sizes changed. Tent to pop up to bunkhouse TT to nothing to our Windjammer TT. Camping makes for great memories.

I ended up buying a keystone passport. I haven't been able to find a forum anywhere that matches the great information that this one provides. I hope I can find one that compares to this one.

Well, no need to leave here then.
As was said, just use the General TT/5th Wheel Discussion section.

Congrats on the new camper. You will enjoy not having to pop it up.
