Got a 2014 HW27KS, does anyone know how to tell when the black water or grey water tan

Also has anyone used slide out extra supports for the side slide out? I'm a bigger guy and it seems like it sags a little and makes me nervous...

Thx for any help

Sorry! First post, that was supposed to say "does anyone know how to tell when the black or grey water tanks are near full?"

Welcome to the forum. I have the rockwood version (hw277) and only use the gray tank (we do not use the toilet- did not want to mess with it). Well, when the gray is full, it backs up into the shower. Don't think there is any way for the black other than to look in it from the top (i.e. peek in from the toilet, the tank is right below). Maybe someone else has a better way for the black. The pullout dinette, we do not use any extra support, it holds all of us (we are not too slim either). Did have an issue with the dinette bed breaking (pulled one of those little strips of wood holding the table in the bed position right out of the bench). We did add extra support to those little strips.

There is no way to tell other than what PP said - Gray water backs up into the shower (sink does not drain into the gray water tank), and you can look down into the toilet to see where you are. There are after market sensors you could add if you wanted to.

I also do not support my slide.

Same here. Only way to tell if grey water is full is it backs up in shower. Check thru toilet to see black water tank level.

We too, have a 2014 HW27KS & don't support the slide out....yet

RV manufacturers state NOT to use slideout supports and if you do, you could void the trailer's warranty.

slideout supports are holdovers from the early days of slideouts, when they were called "tipout" and the technology wasn't great.

now, slideouts have been engineered NOT to need them.
