Grey Water

I am in Ontario, if it matters.

We just bought at Rockwood 2280 pop up with shower and toilet. We are wondering about grey water. There is no holding tank that I am aware of on this model. What do YOU do with the grey water from things like the kitchen sink, outdoor shower or indoor shower??

We plan to buy phosphate-free soaps and such (we actually buy a lot of those anyway for our house) so we do not impact the environment.

Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

we used a 5 gallon bucket for gray water and dumped it into the gray water disposal sites in the campground.
usually near a water spigot.

Get yourself a blue tote maybe 15 or 20 gallons. Most states have regulations against dumping into an open container.

I used a 7 gallon water container. Hose plumbed to it. Dumped when I left the site at the poop station.

Same here. 7 gallon Reliance Aquatainer. I take two with me. Do a search for "oz and us aquatainer" and you can see how he plumbed two together in a way that meets most any CG regs.

I have a 625D and the shower drain is really low. You cannot get a normal blue container under it.
I found a large (20 gallon I think) blue container that is very low profile. It is the only thing that fits under that drain.

We have found Dawn liquid to be an excellent product when we camp.

Remember that 20 gallons of water weighs a little over 161 pounds. Depending on how far you have to move the tank to dump it that could be an issue even with the wheeled tote.

Some of these low profile tanks have a hitch adapter to allow you to pull the tank to a DS.

I saw a fellow camper pulling their low profile tank to the DS the other day. It was slow going for them on the rough CG road.
