here is a fix for the screw on nuts that hold you pushout closed.

This is how I fixed my push out nuts, that keep your push out closed when it closed up.
I went to Lowe's and bought clear coated cable 2FT and used the round yellow crimp connector's.
I cut the cable in 1/2 to 2 1 FT sections, then crimped a connector on either end.
after I stripped about a .25 of an inch of clear coating of the cable, I riveted one end into hole where the original rubber/plastic strap pushed into on the nut.
the other end I screwed it with screw on the push out where the original strap attached. working great so far, when I bought the camper 3 weeks ago the guy giving me the run down on the camper said one of the straps broke while he was turning it to take it off.
