Hot water heater

Have a 425d with a suburban hot water heater. Just bought and plan to camp this weekend but can't get the hot water heater it lite. Thought at first that might be some type safety feather that required the the tank to be full. How ever that has made know difference. Any idea or help will be appreciated

Might need to purge air from the lines. Turn on the stove top for a couple of minutes then try again

This FAQ on the operation of the Suburban may help. This is one of the most neglected items that dealers fail to properly explain in a new RV purchase PDI.

That is a great write up on operation. A lot better than the instructions from Suburban!

It takes two flips of the switch for me to get my ignited most of the time for the first use in the spring.

And that is after I have had all three lines to the stove on for a few seconds, and even had the heater on long enough for heat to come out. Not sure why, but that is the way mine works.
