Hot water heater

I have a Flagstaff HW27KS and wanted to know if there is a way to adjust the temperature on the hot water heater. It just does not get hot enough. Thanks

Have you taken it out of winterize mode and turned your bypass valves back to normal operating positions?..............if not, this can lead to luke warm water temps. The one in the middle needs to be closed off.

In addition to the bypass valve being left in "winter"; another possible cause is an outside (or inside) shower wand in the closed position with the faucets OPEN.

The wand being closed will prevent leaks, but cold water can cross over to the hot side when demand is placed on the hot water lines.

If none of those are the cause, and you just want hotter water than the OEM 120 degrees you can buy aftermarket 140 degree thermostats on eBay and Amazon (in addition to most RV stores).

Here is some light bedtime reading on how to repair water heaters.
