I had the above problem with my last TT. The inside speakers were wired to the left channel and the fader was the 'balance'. Couldn't figure out why it sounded off. Pulled out the radio and rewired it and all was good.

Should be either Fade or Balance (probably Fade)...

Just to close this off for others who might find the same issue in their 2018 or newer Forest River:
  • The Fusion stereo installed in the 2018 popups does not have outputs for front/rear speakers, only left/right.
  • They wired the left output to the single outdoor speaker and the right output to two indoor speakers. So, you can "turn off" the outdoor speaker by moving the balance completely to the right.

Personally, I think the outdoor speaker is useless and it bothers me that I'm only getting one mono channel through the two indoor speakers. So, I pulled out the drawers in the cabinet to access the back of the stereo, disconnected the outside speaker and connected one of the indoor speakers to the left channel. The wires were labeled, so it only took a few minutes.

Good to know. The 2019 Rockwood 1910esp I just ordered comes with this same stereo. I know a bit about stereo wiring, so I will have to rewire to suit my own needs if the interior speakers are wired to one channel.

Turning off outside speaker Furrrion DV 7100

If you have the Furrion DV 7100 the way to turn off your outside speaker is to go to balance and move it all the way left for inside and all the way right for outside. We remember by say L is living room and R is remote speaker.
