HW 27 SC Tires

We just purchased a 2012 27SC a couple weeks ago it has 14" LR C tires I'm concerned they don't have enough safety margin. We are headed out the end on next week on a 2000 mile trip and I don't want to have any tire issues.

Thanks

our 2010 27sc is rated at around 3500lbs GVWR. A load range C tire should be around 1800lbs - which is 3600 total, not counting tongue weight (at least 500 lbs.) which would put only 3000 lbs on your tires, will within their design spec.

In other words a "c" tire is more than up to the job. Unless you overload your trailer - and then tires may be the last of your worries.

I can't speak for your trailer or tires but, my wife and I just bought a 2012 HW27SC in August, and took it to Minnesota from Washington state and it did great. Our round trip was just over 4000 miles, we went through Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore. Just keep the tires pumped up to max pressure and you should be fine.
