We bought one last week and used it on Saturday hooked the water up and had leaks everywhere. Its brand new 2015. What should we do this week to get it ready for a weekend of camping?

Our first pop up. Dealer is 3 hours away. I was asking on tightening fittings? Should we only hand tighten them?

Fix the leaks, most of the connections are plastic so take care in to over tighten them.

Buy a 1/2 coupler.

Local hardware store should have them.

Remove the complete water filter unit use the coupler to hook the in and out line together.

Are you on city water or well water with storage tank? I have been connected to well water with tank and was running close to 60 psi! Had water everywhere and couldn't figure out why until I got home and on the forum.

To add to HONDAMAN's reply, high water pressure is not good. You can purchase a pressure regulator at most camping supply stores. We leave our's on our water hose and use it every time; never know what a campground could be pushing in their lines for pressure.

Where many of your fittings are leaking I would suspect high pressure.
