HW awning question.

I have a 2016 HW31 toy hauler. My question is about the awning. Does it have the channel in the awning rail for accessories. I'm still waiting for the weather to get a little nicer before its first outing. Meanwhile I'm still shopping and out fitting it. I'm looking to get hangers that go into the rail but don't want to waist the money if they don't work.

If it's just a bag awning no it dont. I use badge clips to hang lights from.

If it has an outer flap, put some grommets in....

The grommets don't sound like to bad of an idea. I think I'll look into that route.

I put in mine as the roller slot is filled with led lights, and needed a place to hang sunshade......used carabiners...I'd take a pic, but here on Oregon's coast it's very windy today and there's a want a be tree keep'n me from extending awning....there is also a double track available... that slides into roller slot.....

I finally pulled the awing out over the weekend. Kinma13 was correct about the bag awings not having the accessories channel on them. I ending up drilling a 1/4" hole every 12 inches starting from the out side and working my way in on both the bottom and the side or the rail. Now I can use thin shower curtain hangers or anything smaller the 1/4" to hang anything I want.

Just watch out you might have weaken the bar. It's kinda flimsy already. Just my 2 cents. Stake it down. Gust of wind are known to flip them over the top and the bars can damage the roof or ac unit.
