HW276 awning replacement

I want to replace the dometic hand rolle awning with a mechanical retractable one
Any thoughts

others including me (when I had my HW277) have looked for something along those lines with no luck. The biggest concern is their weight (too much on on side may damage the roof lifting mechanisms and the roof sides are not structured to hold it) and how to get them to accommodate the roof going up and down (the vertical pieces that would normally attach to the side of a regular trailer don't collapse). There were some threads here discussing this.
This was one of the reasons we went to a hybrid trailer. With the high wall camper, it was impossible to roll up the awning when we were set up and a storm suddenly rolled in.

I was thinking of a smaller than the full length like I have seen on van conversions
Just covering the entry area
We had a Roo and loved it !
