HW276 NADA Guide price?

Made a new thread since this is a different question. I was looking at the NADA guide at the HW276 and it shows the retail price about 3k lower than what our dealer is showing and about 2k off of what the dealer is selling the trailer to us for. The dealer shows 21,xxx for the retail and they were asking 18,995 and I talked them down to 17,295 plus a deep cycle battery included. This unit does have A/C as well.

Either way, should I go off of the NADA prices or are those wrong for the model?

I have always heard NADA is too high when trying to figure out a good price, particularly used rvs. Try this site and build out what you're looking at

http://www.seedealercost.com/recv

We are looking at the same model and our dealer (Peco Campers) has them for around $15,900 I believe. $17,295 still just seems high. This is based purely on my preliminary research, not buying experience.

Only difference may be the options. I know some don't have AC and the spare tire. I am also in California (Sacramento) and everything sells for more here, even cars.

remember, NADA is a tool of the dealers, not necessarily the consumer.

and you don't add value for things that come standard for that model.

In the brochure I thought it said the spare tire and ac is optional. Just trying to get an idea if this is a fair price since NADA is showing such a lower retail (like 3k)

Most likely you need to add in options. spurticus Did you go to Peco's web site to check on that model if it was in stock. BTW if you are not aware Peco has sold out to Camping Time. They are moving there prices up. Not like when it was family owned. Later RJD

Best RV in Turlock has great prices but the service is horrible once you fork over the cash.

It took 6 months to get my lift mechanism fixed. I had to hound them twice a month then they finally did it the last month of my 1 year warranty.

They spend all their time checking in inventory and prepping units to leave after a sale.

They do have it in stock. Went there a week or so ago to look around. Yes, I heard they were bought out by Campers Inn. They still seem to have more pup stock than any other RV dealers in Atlanta.

Yes, those are true options for a popup.
But nearly every TT I've seen over the past 10 years, has a a/c and awning.
Yet owners still extra NADA value for them.

Yes, I saw they had decent prices (slightly less than what I paid) but they had such horrible reviews about bait and switching that I stayed clear of them. Thank you for all of the input guys, I think the price I found is pretty good for this area.

Would have bought my HW296 from Peco but it was cheaper to drive to Orlando RV
and Peco would not return my calls or Emails to verify if they had or could get a HW296 or HW29SC.

Poor service so I moved on. As a side note I paid $16,500 for my HW296 in January of this year

I am in California where everything is much more expensive. We almost drove to Oregon because trailers are thousands less up there, but we really do not have the time. There are only 2 dealers within 200 miles that sell the HW276 so we really did not have a choice. The other way a bit more expensive with less options on it.

Thanks for the help guys!
