HW27SC AC Will Not Turn On

Pulled out camper in driveway today to prep for a trip next weekend. For some reason the AC will not hit a lick. I am plugged in to home AC power and everything else is working. I have checked all fuses and cant seem to find anything that is non-functional other than the AC. Any tips on something I may be missing?

Ugh, never mind. Forgot the separate power cord that has to be plugged into the roof. Not my finest moment.

Lol. We just did the same thing last week. It was our first time setting up this seanson. The way I look at it better in the driveway then CG. have a great day. Don't forget to check the vent opens, and furnace works.

Hi you should not run ac on 15 amp plug from the house or camp ground. The plug can't provide the needed amps to run the ac which will cause a voltage drop to the tt. This could damage any of the 110 volt power supplied components that are turned on when you run the power hog air conditioning unit on the roof. May also be a potential cause of an electrical fire.

Hello, Just curious if the fan will operate on the a/c unit (fan only mode) or is just dead all together?

I think what the OP was saying is that he forgot to plug in the A/C unit. There is a plug on the side of the roof that must be plugged in before you raise the roof. He did not plug it in. Hence no power to the unit. Nothing is gonna work if it is not plugged in.

Vin.
