Hw27sc slide out not level

We are on our first trip with our new flagstaff hw27sc. We noticed the slide out dinette is not level. We might have had 550 lbs on it total. It's probably inch or so lower on the outside. I double checked and the trailer is level front to back and side to side. Has anyone else experienced that on any of the highwall campers?

Mine also has a slight "list" when opened. One thing that helped minimize it was to lift and pull out after you think that it is fully extended. Mine comes out a little more, it does not correct all of the sag but helps some. I wish I could find a way to easily adjust/lubricate the slide mechanism.

Our non high wall does this too. We noticed it when we picked it up new doing the walk through. Mechanic said they all do that. He showed us other new ones on the lot that where also like that. Doesn't seem to feel off from sitting on the inside. He said what ever you do, do not try and level the slide. You will end up causing problems.

Even though this thread is a few years old, it was very helpful!!

I noticed a slight downward tilt as well on my 2019 2716G. Service tech said they all do this and it's designed to do this. Said it makes it much easier to pull by hand.

I was still unsure but this thread confirmed it for me. Thanks.

I also read another Rockwood with a tilt but that owner didn't know if it were an issue or not.

I guess TT motorized slides are a bit different.

I do know one thing, it's really not sag as the dealer said. I tried to lift up and no play at all.

I finally did get it measured with some tools. Going from the edge of the inside of the dinette, to the outside wall of the dinette, it measures about 7/8" lower at the outside wall.

My 2018 HW277 does this too. Very annoying but like you am glad to know I’m not the only one.

Some are designed with a slight outward tilt to encourage rain water to drain away from the RV rather than toward the seal.

Yep- another one here. Like others have said don’t try to correct it or put a support under it. You will end up breaking the sliders.

Mine also tilts somewhat, always has. On another note, does anyone know how to access the slide mechanism to clean/lubricate it?

that's a good question. i have never messed with mine in the 5 years i've had it. nothing in the owners manual either. probably the only way to get at it is when the dinnet is slid out.
