I’m considering moving my camper from storage to my driveway. I know storage is better but due to the cost I need to make the move. What cover would you suggest? I want to cover everything. Tires jack and winch area. You guys that does this do you see weathering under the covers?

I moved mine from storage two years back due to the fact that we were spending more than 5 months a year camping. It seems to be doing fine in open storage in my backyard. The city I am in won't allow a carport cover to be built so it's in the open. I bought a cover, used it once. Decided it was too much hassle and sold it.

I stored my hw277 in my driveway. I only covered the tires in the winter. Just used a run of the mill tire cover, nothing special. Did not cover anything else, so can not provide any recommendations for that. I did wax the camper couple of times a year, still looked good when I traded it in after 6 years.

A cover can be useful, but far from a necessity. As pointed out earlier, they really are a hassle. I have one in a large tub in the basement that's been there for five years or so. The camper is doing just fine without it.
I've never seen a TT cover that enclosed the tongue (and all). I usually just put a plastic bucket upside down on top of the tongue jack. The cylinders already have a plastic cover, and the battery box is tucked way up in there so doesn't ever see the sun.

lakecumberland...

nobody has yet mentioned that should you decide to put a tarp on it, then put something like pool noodles on the corners of the camper and try to allow for some air movement under the tarp...

I opted to modify a canopy cover, by adding pipe to the legs to make it higher... you may not have to do this mod... keeps most UV and dirt/rain off the roof.
