Man, that looks pretty twisted up. Is that a Carefree awning? Surly you will be able to get a replacement...

It's a typical popup bag awning, not like traditional RV awnings.

I believe they are but you have to order both sides so you may need a hole new awning. Btw u need to install the side bar to the roof behind the bag there are models like at the bottom .

Your picture shows the side poles inserted into the incorrect holder. Kinma was saying that there should be two holders on the side of the roof. You will see them under the awning bag. The side poles get inserted into those. The lower holders that you used with the side poles are for the leg poles if you wanted that configuration. Otherwise the leg poles can be placed on the ground.
