The dealership has a Florida office and they have a few of the units there but they were not willing to move it up here for me. I guess it costs just as much to drive it from Elkart as it does Orlando. The price would have been the same aside for delivery price adjustments. The down side is I have to wait and I had to buy it sight unseen so we have no idea what the interior looks like or if we are gonna like it.

HW296 PuP Mods

A bit off topic,

Is the water pump supposed to come on and off as the water is being used from the sink, using fresh water tank. Thanks in advance.

We kinda did the same vin. The dealer ordered one after we looked at another just thinking on his own we would be back. (He was the cheapest we found) after we decided to bit the bullet we called him and it was scheduled to be delivered that weekend. By that time of delivery the trim n cabinets had changed but we think for the better. Hope you get yours very soon and get some time in it.

Yes. the pumps are water pressure activated. They kick on every time there is a drop in pressure - such as when you open the faucet to use it. Totally normal.

Thanks vin,

How about this one.

When I pull to the dump station and drain the black water tank, how do I rinse it out if the pup is closed and I can't get to the toilet?

Tactical thats a great question we (highwall) owners are tring to figure that out. The only thing I can figure out is use a flush king it has a jet off water into the tank and a gate valve behind it so you could back fill the tank the bad thing is you dont know when the tank is fill so it could come out the vent on the roof if you fill with to much water. Vin posted a video on youtube of someone doing a test on that and it really didnt clean the tank either. The best I can figure is get a full hook site but in michigan the state sites dont have them.

Your brass fittings may be ok, but I would not use that center pipe for fresh water.
Walmart sell the adapter that you want for a couple of bucks.Looks like these.

Yep. that is why I am having fits over here on this black tank crap. No pun intended but I'll take it.

Just look at the tags for the posts and you will see black listed. This forum is full of black tank questions/problems. Mostly stink problems.

We popup owners cannot really clean out at a dump station. We have to do that while popped up at the site.

The best thing I can think of is to use a wand down the toilet to flush it out. And even then, I do not know if you can see in the tank (down the toilet) enough to know if it is free of solids.

This is gonna be a whole new learning curve for me.

I really have no choice in the matter. HW's only come with these flush toilets.

Check out the video's. It is amazing how they drain and leave so much behind.

Vin.
