I have a sag...need ideas

We are towing our pop up with an 09 Honda oddyssey (pop up weight approx 2200 lbs with a hitch wt of 200 lbs). We have a sag while loaded and towing. Any ideas on alleviating the sag, besides adding airbags. It does not appear that coil over shocks are made for this body style of oddyssey.

Airbags seem to be the way to go on an Ody.

Light duty weight distributing hitch if you don't want to mod the Odyssey.

have you actually weighed the hitch or are you going by the fictional "dry" numbers?
if you've got a bunch of people, in a soft-suspension minivan, then you only can get a Reese WDH made for popups or get air bags, IF the popup's actual hitch weight doesn't exceed the Honda's max hitch capacity.

OP has a Honda Odessy. Don't think Timbrens will work and I don't think he wants to mod the suspension on it.

Pulled our old pop up with our 2007 Nissan Quest. Installed air lift bags and a on board compressor and auto leveler. Worked great! Dont have either one anymore though. Took a couple of hours to install.

A cheap and simple way is to install Air Max air shocks. If you're towing often, get air bags.
If I remember correctly, you cannot use a WDH on an Ody.

WDH or air bags. The air bags allow a lot of adjustability and distribute loads over a much larger area that what is done with.an air shock. Advantage of a WDH is it is only there when you are towing. Check compatibility first as previous poster suggested.

My dad has an 06 Oddy and added AirLift 1000 airbags. The camper he has now is about 2500# and no sag at all. I have the Firestone airbags on my Pilot and have been using his camper and also get no sag with those. Airbags are the cheapest way to go probably.
