Your photo didn't come thru.
Here is a furnace vent cover.
Suburban Furnace Vent Cap 260098
If you're looking at something similar- you've got it!

The round metal outlet near the center of the trailer is the outlet for the furnace.

Hard to see from this distance but I think you're right.
A close up photo of that vent would help.

Taking the pic and adding an arrow to it, to show exact where caper stated.

Not familiar with pop-ups but is a heater an option?
From the photo it looks like there is nothing in that cabinet.

On the smaller ones it is. I'd say, just based on looking at the pics, it's wired for it but not present. Looks like a thermostat under the sink, though.

Hard to tell based on the poor resolution, but I think it is a propane leak detector.

Would a propane leak detector require that large of a space?
It might be a space for an accessory that didn't come with the unit

That looks just like my thermostat next to the 110 receptacle under the sink, except that mine's black. I don't think there's a furnace in there though.

I was talking about the white thing to the right of the Duplex outlet.

I know we love these mysteries. I looked at the site for Rockwoods, and judging by the stove, sink, and dinette, it appears he may have a Model 1950 or 1970, which has an optional heater (and may have been opted out)

It is a 2005 model 1950. If there is not a heater installed what would be the average cost to put one in or is it even needed since the camper is that small? I guess I'm asking would a portable propane heater work just as well. The seller is not available at the moment which is why I am asking questions here. If there is no heater there I would rather not have that big vent doing nothing.

I just looked at prices. The same furnace that is in my 2280 looks like it's running around $500-ish. More than I thought it would be. Mounting it wouldn't be that difficult since there's a spot for it already and the thermostat is already installed (I'm assuming the gas lines and power wires are routed too). Connecting the propane to it would probably stop me from doing it myself, but that depends on how handy you are with that. If it were me, I'd probably go with a catalytic heater. MUCH cheaper. Most people with a popup will tell you that, if you do more than use that furnace occasionally to knock the chill out of the air, you'll suck a bottle of propane down pretty quickly. They're not the most efficient things out there (the canvas doesn't help either). Having said that, I loved having one in the popup, but I probably wouldn't have installed it after the fact.

looks like a furnace to me. looks like it has a hot water heater for the wet shower, and a/c as well. I mean, you have all that stuff, why would somebody go cheap on a furnace option? not sure where you are located or where camper originally bought, so maybe it wasn't high on their list of priorities.

You can use an electric space heater if you camp with hookups available.
You can buy and use a catalytic heater if you camp without electric.
You can put hinges on that large grill and use the area behind it for storage.
It seems odd that they would install the exhaust on the outside and
put in a grille on the inside and not install a heater.
I wonder if the heater was removed for some reason
Personally, I'd not bother with the expense/hassle of installing a heater
in a used pop up.
Just my 2¢

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. I will let you know what I find out this weekend. If it does not have a furnace I will just get a Mr. Buddy and be done with it and modify that area for storage. If it does I will probably still get the Mr. Buddy since these things are not very efficient as far as draining the battery.
Still excited about the PUP though and ready to jump in!
