LED Bulb Replacements
We are picking up a 2014 Rockwood 2560G this weekend and I would like to immediately change out the bulbs to LED since we will be using it almost immediately dry docking. If I order the LEDs now I should have them in time. Is anyone familiar with this model or is there someplace where I can find out which ones I will need to order?

LEDWholesalers on Amazon has good ones.
You have to get a tower/panel that has a minimum of 18 5050 LEDs to equal a normal incandescent bulb's 280+ lumens.

I went with these in my TT. Really bright white light almost blue. Takes a little while to get used to from normal bulbs. Used to get a whistle from power convertor when 3 lights were on, now i can have them all on and no noise! Just remember when you plug it in and doesn't work, flip over the socket and try again.

That's the cool white color. You can get them in warm white (~4,500K) which is not as harsh.

So the T10 Wedge Base 18x5050 SMD 12v Ac/dc 1441ww is a standard size bulb that will fit the light fixtures in the 2014 Rockwood 2560G?
I have three indoor lights and one outside light I need to replace with LED.

The prices from this supplier seem rather high to me. I understand you are in a hurry but for those who can wait a few weeks for delivery you can save a lot of money by ordering them from exrell | eBay. I've ordered from here several times with no complaints. I changed over my entire 30' TT inside for about $15 including shipping.

I'm not too worried about the price since I am on a time crunch. I'm just wanting to make sure these are the correct size. Also, which bulb would go in the out side light? 2014 Rockwood 2560G

I did A LOT of research into LED makers and their design. The Chinese ones are cheap. I bought some of all of them (12, 18, 20, 24, 28, 40 LEDs) so I could see for myself. I probably have 40+ different LED lights sitting in a box. The tower model I use was about $9, and not from LEDWholesalers (they were out of stock when I ordered). The quality is very good on these type of lights. I cannot risk getting something that will break because shipping to Korea is such a hassle and expensive. The stuff they sell here is junk, so that is not an option.
Some of the cheaper LED panels get VERY hot because they use a resistor, not an IC, to control voltage and current. Looking at them, they are CHEAP.
They work well for a lot of people, though, so to each their own.
I use aluminum foil tape as a reflector, and the tower-style are big, but as you can see in my picture, they do fit inside my overhead light fixtures.

Not to get too technical here, but what you say is true and can be a problem in an RV. By using only a resistor, instead of some sort of current regulator circuit, the LED's can get extremely hot when the converter goes into the bulk charge mode, which is on the order of 14.4V. I have read stories where the LED's actually de-solder themselves due to the heat build-up.

So the bulbs you mentioned above from LEDWholesalers on Amazon use an IC?

These are my lights...sorry the pics aren't that great. The bulbs you mention wouldn't be too large for these fixtures would they?

It looks a little smaller than my lights. A panel-type might be a better option for this fixture. Here is one a guy did with two different LED panels so he could have a dim and a bright light.

After all the research you have done who would you recommend getting them from?

I buy everything from Amazon because I live in Korea.

I didn't catch that lumens rating...been looking at so many I'm getting them mixed up. These from Amazon are looking pretty good, have a 288 lumens rating and are priced right... http://www.amazon.com/18x5050-White-...I1U04PEE6UX8LL

I used the T10 panel type lights in my 30' TT. I did the entire trailer for less than $20 including shipping. Yes, I had to do some searching and yes, they came from China and took around 3 weeks to arrive. But they all worked. This is my second year with them and none have failed. If you will go to exrell | eBay and look for what you need, I think you'll be please with the product and the price. Be sure to look for "free shipping" under the price on the right side of the page. Good Luck!

Post pics when you get them installed, and don't forget to put aluminum foil tape behind them as a reflector!
