Leveling?
Still struggling on this. Where should you place the level to check this?

Best place is a 6" or 9" level in the frig, both directions.

Place a 6 or 9' spirit level on a shelf inside the fridge. Check for level in both directions (i.e.. so the level is pointing front to back of the trailer and then pointing from left to right of the trailer - but inside the fridge). If you have a smartphone there are a number of apps that you can download (for free) that will act as a level. You just need to have it calibrated first.

Why in the fridge? I have a pop up and can't access the fridge until it's open

Are you talking about where to put the level inside the trailer to make sure the trailer is level prior to adding attached levels to the outside to use when initially setting up the trailer when camping?
If yes, then I place a 2 foot level on the center of the floor, just inside the door, level front-to-back, then side-to-side and then attach small levels to the frame. For front-to-back, I attached the level to the front right side of the trailer frame; easy to see when adjusting the level after disconnecting from the TV.
I then placed a small level on the front of the frame for side-to-side. However, since I sometimes use an Anderson leveler, I also added a large 11" level to the top of the trailer so I can see it through the rear view mirror.
On popups, not sure how you could determine the level when camping if the levels were attached to the fridge. On my trailer, you can just see the front of the fridge from the small access door. You cannot open the door!

You can also level on the frame outside for front to back and side to side, then affix the small or large levels to the outside on the front and the sides. Just make sure you caulk the screw holes for the levels and DO NOT RELY on the self sticking adhesive to hold them level.

for years we just use a little appliance level( 3 bucks) on the freezer shelf. the edge is prizmatic so you can read from an angle. half the volumn of the bubble (2/3 diameter)or better gets you within 3 degrees. the torpedo level is fine but a little cumbersome in your little freezer. you can set levels on the outside to match fridge...a common mod...
or the floor if it matches the freezer.

Good 3M tape will work.
Front-to-back level, front right side of frame; attached with 3M industrial tape since October 2012....(only problem is the white lines have faded, but can still determine level)
Side-to-side level, front right of frame; attached with 3M industrial tape since October 2012 (also lines are faded)
Side-to-side level, attached to the top of the roof assembly. Two holes, plenty of sealant added to each screw hold and screw, as well as dicor around the outer edge to keep it waterproof.
(Need to paint the front frame with some POR; appears to be a little rust.)

Never had long lasting luck with the tape and little people moving them. That's why I use screws.

I've had great luck with the industrial strength 3M stuff, I just make sure to clean it well. As for little people...not a problem around here.

Ive actually tweeked these levels to see how they return. they seem to rapidly return at first and then slow right at the end, taking quite a while to return fully. Of course Im here in nor cal. we have very hot summers and very strong tenacious little people...

Well, mine lasted two years in the Moab desert. Just don't use the tape that comes on the levels. That's stuff is usually worthless....

I really like this f5! I've been using a t-level on the tongue and has done a pretty good job so far. It's so small though and may not be the most accurate but appears to be good enough.
Your solution is better and will look into this
Cheers
Dan
