Load rating for a 2000 Rockwood 1940 LTD

All,
I have a 2000 Rockwood 1940 LTD pop up, it has two different load rated tires "B" and "C", on it. I would like to know which one is the right tire for my trailer. I'm getting ready to go for my first time out, just a short trip to Jetty Park, Cape Canaveral, Fl. and would like to get it right the first time.

Welcome to the forum!

Is there a sticker on the camper that indicates it's GVWR and axle capacity? The tires you choose have to be higher than the axle rating.

Dave,
The GVWR is 2381 lbs, and the UVW is 1656 lbs. I think I will go with the Load rating "C".

this chart may provide some guidance:

Couple of comments, the age of the tire should never be more than 60 months. You should try to match tire size and weight ratings.

It looks like a load range b tire would actually be minimal, and a load range C tire would be preferred. However you should refer to the yellow sticker for what the manufacturer recommends.

jeeplj8,
Tire size is 5.30/12, I think I will go with load rating "C".
