We use one that we got at a Costco. I love it. No messing around with wood and at the end of the night, just turn it off.

I have one I got from Lowe's. On sale for $89. Love it. It doesn't take up a lot of room in the bed of my truck and puts off a good amount of heat when sitting under the awning or under the pop up portable tent. We bought it for tailgating last year. Worked great and no one smelled like firewood after sitting around it for 6 hours or so. I like the campfire, but this is great when you can't have a fire or when you need to make a trip somewhere and don't want to leave a real fire unattended. Just turn it off.
