Went to Camper show yesterday.
Click the Welcome Link this is where we went.
Welcome
We got to go through all the camper's and check them out.
Very disappointed though, not one PUP in the entire show, very sad.
PUP's are not Dead.
Also found Vermont Country Campers where I Bought my 2010 HW 296 from 2 summers ago.
we ended up Ordering a brand new 2017 HW 296 from them, they gave me over 8,000 for my used one, I paid 11 something from them, not bad.
So we owe 15,400 for the new one.
in December I ordered 2 Brand new cars as well A 2017 Ford explorer Sport and a Ford Escape Titanium both fully loaded.
The Escape is in the Explorer will be here in couple of days.
The Explorer has a ECO Boost v6 twin Turbo, Plenty of power to Pull the new PUP with.
The Escape has 2.0 liter ECO Boost with a Class 2 Receiver to pull my 2015 Alluma 4X8 Utility trailer with it.

Wow, you must have come into some money all of sudden! Anyway, congratulations. We got the 2017 HW296 last summer and we really like it! King of pop-ups! Kind of heavy to push around, but we manage. Tows pretty easy for us too.

Re-reading your post, I see you already had a 210 HW296 so you know how it tows. Curious what you like better on the newer one. When we bought ours last summer, it replaced a year 2000 Coleman so it felt like quite an upgrade. One of my favorites is the LED lighting. The old camper was always too dark inside. Of course, now we have AC which I doubt we'll use in Michigan, and a microwave, gas oven and bathroom. And a nice stereo and TV system!

Tomorrow, I will visit Ford to look at an F150 and F250, and Mercedes to look at an S Class sedan and a GLS suv during the President's Day sale. Don't plan to buy yet because: 1) I have a long demo list to work through, and 2) I'm beginning to realize there were a couple of other things I learned on our RV trip that were not obvious to me at the time.
Seems like when one has the cash to spend, rather than the credit, it is more fun to explore the options, than close a deal...when you wake up the next day it is nice to feel like a Grinch with my dog Mace OR pretend I'm Scrooge...just kidding.
I have no idea what a PUP is, but if they didn't have them it is because either the profit is too low or the demand is too low. Great place to get discounts if you want to buy new.

I love how my 2010 Tows so I know the one will tow just the same.
I have a question about UR 2017 HW296?
Is the TV on a swivel mount?
How big is the TV a 19" or bigger?
Does it stay on the mount and fold down out of the way when folding down the camper?
Is the porch light LED?
I know the inside light's are LED and the porch light is connected to the interior lights.
I ordered mine with power Tongue Jack as well as the solar panels

A PUP is short way of saying Pop Up.
Good luck on the truck shopping, Love my Fords always have.
My 1st car was a Ford 1972 Gran Torino Station Wagon.

The TV is 19" and it swivels, and folds down for travel. I put a 22" in it's place for awhile, and it fit too.
By porch light, do you mean the yellow bug light outside the door? Thats not LED unless they've switched that lately too. Mines probably 8-10 months older than yours. The string of lights attached to the roof under the awning are LED. They all have separate switches if I remember correctly. I could be wrong.
The low profile AC unit is a nice improvement over what probably was on your 2010. I can barely get mine in the garage. If it was the old style AC on the roof, I'd have to deflate the tires or something.
The reason I had switched out the TV for awhile is because I thought mine was defective. Turns out, there is a hidden little rocker switch on the bottom lip of the panel. I never saw it and was convinced the TV was dead. So I took it out and attached a 22" I had and used that until I could get the camper in to be looked at.

Its an off brand that I'll have to look up later. But yes, it has hdmi, as does the dvd/cd player on the wall. And I'm pretty sure it has RCA type jacks too, because we hooked up a Nintendo Wii that didn't have hdmi. The bracket that holds the TV is a standard mount, so you can easily put something else there.
It's possible you'll get a better tv, since everything is going 4k now, and I believe mine might be 720 resolution, but not sure. It looks good and works fine and thats the main thing. You can get a sort of "surround sound" because it plays through speakers in the camper instead of through the TV. sorta cool.

No neither have I.
All the campers we through at the show had those off Brand TV's, that name might be right?
