As previous stated the tool is used to set the limit switch for up and down. I believe it is a pre package with every camper. My unit came with a power winch 1200 lbs capacity. More information on installing or purchasing can be found at www.powerwinch.com. BJ
I took the cover off my power winch 1200 so I could paint the complete front area. The small tool is use to adj the upper and lower limits for the power winch. More information on location of adj can be found on line at www.powerwinch.com
