Naming rigs

Why don't people name their rigs like they do boats?

I wondered the same thing! We've named our new one and I'm getting vinyl lettering to christen her.

With name and port of call on the transom (rear wall)! Great idea! I had wanted to name our Solera Solly, but SWMBO said it was neither male nor Jewish!

We call ours Escape (pronounced with a long A the way Dory the fish says it in "Finding Nemo)

and the TV is Bruce (the white shark also from Finding Nemo)

It will be called "Frankie Fleetwood" and the TV has been called Big Blue. A blue F150
