Smile New 2015 Freedom 2280: Questions after 1st use??

TIA as I have some questions after my first camping trip. I had no hoses for the shower or sink?? Can I buy the standard drainage hoses? or are the connections proprietary?

Also, I tried to turn on the A/C and I got nothing. But I seem to recall that perhaps I needed to plug it in??

I appreciate any and all assistance.

I have the same model, mine came with elbow fittings that hook up to a garden hose, one for each drain line. I bought a 25 gal. portable waste tank that we use for the shower and use a 5 gallon plastic water bottle for the sink drain. In the process of relocating shower drain to the left side of trailer where it should be in the first place. This will make it where both lines will be able to drain in one tank. Hope you enjoy your new camper!

If you forget to plug it in before raising the top, you can easily unzip the tent panel and plug it in by reaching outside. The 30amp cord will only connect 1 way. I have done this a few times. It will of course depend on where the A/C connector is located. Generally, it is as close to directly above the cord storage in the camper wall.

Here is what came with my camper (2, 1 for each drain sink and shower) amazon has them for $5.84 each.

I just completed the shower drain to left side of camper with 1 1/2 pvc and fittings. Will try it out next season. This will make it were the portable tank will be on the left side of camper and no one will be tripping over it, and both sink water and shower water in one tank.

I purchased the items and they worked great. I run my shower hose under the trailer and use a Y connector. Works well.
