New 625D Bought

Hello everyone. The family just purchased a 2012 Flagstaff 625D and we are excited to get it out. It is our first camper and we have a 4 year old son who calls it Transformer Prime.

There is a lot of great information on this site and I look forward to asking questions and sharing our experiences this coming year. We live in Charlotte, NC and will be up and down the east coast. Anyone ever stay out at the campsite in Cape Hatteras?

See you out on the road!

Jim

Cool, I have the 2011 model. They are great pop-ups.

If you have any question please ask.

There is a lot to learn.

We are heading to Myrtle Beach the weekend of March 30. We have a 3day/2night pass to Cypress Camping Resort and may use that. I believe it's a relatively new campground in Myrtle Beach. Has anyone been there or heard anything about it?

Also, first question to all tent campers. I somehow put a small (2") tear in the canvas near the dinet slide out. Does anyone use a prefered vinyl/leather repair kit? I've seen several at Wal-Mart but was wondering if there are any suggestions before I buy?

Thanks for the feedback!

If the tear is towards the front of the dinette, it is probably because you need to put the slide in before the front bunk, but you need to keep the dinette canvas pulled out until after you push in the front bed. Otherwise the front bed rail will catch the dinette canvas and rip it.
