New owners of a NTU HW277, Have some questions

Hello fellow campers,

My Wife and I recently purchased a used 2013 Rockwood HW277 Pop-Up and have some questions that hopefully can be answered from other 277 owners.

1. Where are the Lift System Support Braces and Bunk End Support bars typically stored? When we purchased the unit they were laying on the floor and sliding around and scratching the cabinets.

2. Is it normal to not have any level bubbles on the unit?

3. I am looking for a gray water tank adapter so I can use the Black water 3" RV Hose with the gray water discharge. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Other than these couple of questions we really like the unit so far and will be taking it out on it's first trip this weekend.

We don't have a high wall but we store our poles under the respective beds. Our safety bars lay on the dinette and as for the bubble those are user applied. I prefer to trust a torpedo level or 2 foot level if I remember it.
We have a 2317g premier so we don't have a gray or black hook ups. So someone else will tackle that.

Question 1. I store my shepard poles and lift support under the front matress,
Question 2. No but you can install them.
Question 3. Use a 1 1/2 clean out, a 1 1/2 to 3 riser, and a valterra bayonet terminal. I'll look up parts later. There is a parts list under a decision black holding tanks.

Hello and congratulations on your hw277. Ours is a 2010 year and we have had alot of use out of ours. We do store the tent poles (the shepards poles) under the mattress. However, the bed support poles we do store on the floor. they slide between the dinette slide out and the fridge cabinet. We have not had them slide around and they are easy to get out and install before you slide the beds out.

As already mentioned, bubble levels do not come with the camper. We bought and installed them.

Hope you enjoy your 277 as much as we have enjoyed ours..

Thanks for all the help and quick responses already. I found the following parts on Amazon that I think would be a straight glue up, and would only need a single fitting from Lowes to tie it all together, can someone confirm?

Amazon - Fitting 1
Amazon - Fitting 2
Lowes - Fitting 1

fwiw, I too store the bed end supports in the aisle. I have a carpet runner and there doesn't appear to be an issue with stuff slipping and sliding.

We too store the slide out support poles and the 2 corner roof supports on the floor and no problem with cabinets being scarred.

I believe all three are wrong. Be sure to get the valterra 1029-1 not 1029-2. Also, I ordered all abs (black) fittings from Lowe's.com. my local Lowe's did not carry abs in store. Be sure to use an all purpose glue that's good for pvc or abs just in case you end up with different materials. There's a lengthy thread around here with the part numbers. Try looking up the parts listed by Kinma13
