We bought the same unit last year. The only problem we had with ours was the welds on the rear bumper failed. The bumper supports the bunks, so give them a quick look. Other than that it's been a good unit.

We purchased a 2560G last year and had the same issue with the rear bumper. We took it back to dealer, 2 months later we got it back and still had to do some welding ourselves to get it completely corrected. We still love it but if I was to purchase another it would take my better half and I at least 2-3 hours going over it before I would drive away from dealership! Lesson learned...the hard way.

We were unfortunate enough to have it fail about 1,700 miles away from home, in the badlands. A dealership called I-90 RV fixed it up for us, and did a great job. Other than that, make sure you check water fittings and such, and make sure you wet the canvas down a couple of times before you head out on your first trip to seal the seams.

Thank you cousin Eddie n Dutchman I never though about the welds failing. I'll be checking mine when I get it out of storage.

Yes, thanks guys. We too bought a '15 2514g and haven't picked it up yet. Will be sure to closely examine the bumper. Already expect the fittings to need a bit of tightening now and again. Don't they all? Our old Viking did every once and awhile. I can't wait to camp, it's been a long winter here in MN. I don't care if it's just in the driveway....lol...at least I'm outside!

Funny. I was thinking that same thing about the driveway when we were taking everything out of my trade in today. Use the new 2514G in good health. Can't wait for my first trip with mine.
